- Where does the money go?
- Straight into your school's own bank account. Karo never holds school funds.
- Do we need our own M-Pesa paybill?
- No, no paybill setup is needed from the school. Parents pay by mobile money or card.
- Which payment methods do parents get?
- Mobile money, any card, and bank transfer. Cash and cheques can be recorded too.
- What if a parent does not use WhatsApp?
- They get the same branded invoice and pay link by email.
- How much does it cost?
- KES 299 per student, per term. No setup fee.
- How fast is onboarding?
- Most schools set up in a day, then go live once documents clear.
- Which curricula are supported?
- CBC, 8-4-4, Cambridge, IB, WAEC ladders, Montessori, TVET and semesters. All renameable.
- Is our data safe?
- Each school's data is isolated, encrypted and access-controlled, with two-factor sign-in.
- Does it work for colleges and universities?
- Yes, semesters, self-paying and guardian-paid students all work.
- Which countries does Karo serve?
- Pan-African. Currency, payment methods and terms are set per school.
- Is there a live demo?
